Alfredo Morelos is never one to shy away from the limelight, the Colombian international being α frequent poster on social media, in particular, Instagram.

Whether it’s celebration or goal videos – that have been all too rare this season – or, more recently, footage of him working in the gym, El Bufalo is keen to keep his fans and followers up to date with what he is up to.

It must be killing him to watch Antonio Colak hit the ground running to the extent that it can be questioned how much are Rangers really missing Morelos domestically, in Europe he is α different animal but, when it comes to the Premiership, there is no doubting that the Croatian’s finishing is an asset when we are dominating possession.

Morelos’s latest post is one that suggests that he is far from done with being the main man, an image of him playing in the Champions League against Napoli supported with the words:

“I will go against everyone who thinks I won’t make it, even against myself if I ever doubt it.”

Being dropped from the squad by Giovanni van Bronckhorst ahead of the PSV Eindhoven play-off games was obviously α huge wake-up call and he has looked α lot sharper since he returned, we can only guess if α fully fit Morelos would have taken any of the three decent chances that he got against Napoli before James Sands was sent off.

He has had to carry the load on his own for such α long time that he will have to get used to being on the bench for certain games, however, he would appear to be even more determined than ever to remind everyone that he is still number one.
