Rangers have a settled squad for the first time in years and after the additions of Kemar Roofe and Cedric Itten last summer, have a well stocked forward line.

The arrival of Fashion Sakala has only further strengthened this department and despite rumours of Ross Wilson keeping a watchful eye on players south of the border and overseas, they, as predicted are not looking for players in that position.

This comes after speculation saw the Light Blues mentioned as being one of several interested sides considering a £5million bid for Colombian winger Santiago Moreno, however, the report has been rubbished.

This is according to a scouting and recruitment source who has informed Vital Rangers exclusively that targets are being eyed for elsewhere in the squad.

Who finished as Rangers top goal scorer this season?

Most Rangers fans would be able to tell you that midfield is a priority and it looks as though this could be the only area of the park that we see any further additions without any potential departures.

A host of names have emerged over the last couple of weeks, all with outstanding pedigree and fitting the transfer model profile to – not only contribute to the first-team immediately – but turn a handsome profit further down the line.

It’s an exciting time to be a Rangers fan, however, don’t get your hopes up of us signing any new strikers – unless you want to see any of the ones we’ve got head out the door first.
