Andreas Skov Olsen’s time at Bologna could be coming to an end after the 22-year old wasn’t even included in Sinisa Mihajlovic’s squad for their Serie A clash with Verona.

Rangers and Club Brugge are said to be the main interested parties with rumours of both sides having made bids in the region of £5million to secure his services.

Speaking after the game, it’s safe to say that Mihajlovic wasn’t happy with the Denmark international or his team-mate Mitchell Dijks who also looks to be on his way out, as reported by The Daily Record:

“Let’s say they weren’t ready…

“They are two players who no longer enjoy being here and I can’t keep players here who pull out in our time of need.”

It sounds like Skov Olsen is “feeling his hamstring”, an injury familiar to players who are trying to engineer an exit from an unhappy situation and that it is a matter of when, not if, he leaves..

The frustration for Rangers fans is that we really want to see the squad strengthened as soon as possible but you get them impression Bologna want a replacement in before they will consider selling.

There’s nothing better than a last minute, big name signing on deadline day – Ryan Kent’s announcement will go down in Rangers Twitter history – and Ross Wilson said that some of the money made from the sale of Nathan Patterson would be reinvested into the playing squad, let’s hope he is true to his word and digs deep for a player that could be the difference between retaining our Scottish Premiership title or missing out on a £30m Champions League jackpot.
