In what is set to be a feisty occasion with plenty of serious matters up for discussion, the date for Rangers 2022 AGM has been set.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday 6th December with further details set to be released to shareholders very soon.

With the continuing friction at Ibrox regarding the poor performance of the team under Giovanni van Bronckhorst, the European debacle including a perceived overpricing of tickets, poor relations between club and fans, communication issues, the aborted Sydney tournament and more, this gathering will be highly charged.

An email sent out today (via Tifosy) to relevant shareholders and stakeholders, inclusing supporters read:

“The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Rangers International Football Club plc will take place on Tuesday 6 December. Full details of the event will be sent to all Rangers shareholders on Monday 14 November, following the next trading window on the Tifosy Exchange.”

“Shareholders will be required to indicate their attendance and vote their shares in advance of the meeting.”

Action

There is a growing appetite amongst the support for change – both in football management as well as in senior positions at the club. This desire will be fully voiced at the AGM with the club expected to deliver on other issues, such as disabled facilities within Ibrox as previously pledged.

Two games remain for the team before the World Cup shutdown which will then be followed by the meeting. There is so much on the line involving Rangers at present and that is set to continue into the next month, well after the competitive action on the pitch is temporarily halted.
