Rangers striker Kyle Lafferty may have hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons during the international break, but at least he’s back fit and performing well in training.
The Northern Ireland cap was the star man during Steven Gerrard’s training session and Auchenhowie on Friday, winning a Twix for his troubles, which he was clearly delighted by!

Despite his star turn, he won’t be available for either Sunday’s trip to Hamilton Accies or next week’s League Cup semi-final against Aberdeen.
That leaves his only chance of action over the next seven days being the upcoming fixture against Spartak Moscow on Thursday. Will Gerrard turn to the Twix winner against the Russians?
All jokes aside, it’s great to see he’s putting the international drama behind him and training well. Alfredo Morelos may be doing the business this season but the club need a strong back-up and someone able to step in should injury or suspension arise.
Fans were pleased to see the update and took to Twitter to share their thoughts…
He’s 6 foot 6 and he loves a Twix! Kyle Lafferty! pic.twitter.com/3nHwYnOluk

Still find it incredible that @NorthernIreland pulled out this ban towards @laffk10, let the guy be club and country have no bearing on one another.

Better no let the IFA see this or he’ll get banned again.
