For many Rangers fans, last night’s clash against FC Shkupi was a game that could’ve been missed when it came to the actual performance put in.

For others, whilst it might not have been specular and got people onto the edge of their seats, it was our second competitive game and we continue in the Europa League competition moving from the Qualifying First Round through to the Qualifying Second Round and that’s all that matters, especially at this early stage of the year with the team still in pre-season.
Whichever side of the fence you fall on in terms of the above, over the two legs we won, we’re through to the next stage – two games and two goals scored and two clean sheets – it’s the basic foundation new manager Steven Gerrard can build further from as players will get sharper and the understanding in the team and of the manager’s instructions will only improve as the weeks pass.
For most, as they took to social media after the game, that should be the only thing that matters.
Would you have Cummings back?

We set up to defend the 2-0 aggregate lead and did so very well.
Would have won 3 or 4 nil if Morelos wasn’t useless

Clean sheet, team still bonding and still trying to work out our best lineup and formation. Goldson looks a player! Through to the next round is all that matters #Letsgo #RangersFC

Too many midfielders of similar play, we badly need a creative thinking styled player coming in.
