Rangers ultras group, the Union Bears have unfurled a large banner outside the consitutency office of SNP MSP and Minister, Humza Yousaf in Cardonald, Glasgow.

Last week, Yousaf waded in to the spurious accusations of sectarianism from Rangers players, during a ‘Sweet Caroline’ singalong.

After Police Scotland confirmed ‘no criminality’ yesterday, Rangers have responded and stated that they have instigated legal action against ‘certain individuals’.

‘One Scotland, Many Cultures, Apart from Rangers’

The message is loud and clear, coming after a week of bombardment and vilification aimed towards the Rangers support in general, largely without nuance or balance.

This action from the UB simply keeps the pressure on the now Health Minister adding to his bad publicity, following the cabinet reshuffle which saw Yousaf switched from his previous Justice portfolio.

It remains to be seen what will come of the legal action taken by the Ibrox club but certain figures within politics and in the press will be watchin on closely, due to their own conduct.

At the time of writing, there has still not been a response from Humza Yousaf, who was very happy to cast aspersions last week, when the dubious online content emerged.

What price on credibility and accountability?
