Having impressed plenty on his Ranger debut in the Qualifying First Round tie against FC Shkupi, goalkeeper Allan McGregor was at it again on Tuesday evening as he played his part in helping us to a scoreless draw on the night, securing a 2-0 aggregate victory as we booked our place in the next round of the Europa League in 2018/19.

Following his free agent arrival from Hull City this summer, the 36-year-old former youth prospect has made the perfect start to life back at Ibrox. Two games in and he’s already notched up two clean sheets.

Even allowing for the relative quality of the opposition, it shouldn’t be forgotten that at this early stage of the season whilst most clubs concentrate on fitness only, we are also bedding in a new back line following other arrivals this summer, and McGregor’s experience is clearly helping to settle them as Shkupi did have opportunities to make the tie slightly tastier but we dealt with whatever they threw at us – which wasn’t much really.

Reacting to his impact on the side so far, here are some of the best reactions from fans.
