Rangers fans appear to want to see Steven Gerrard mix up his team selection for today’s match at home to Motherwell, in the wake of a calamitous defensive performance in Russia on Thursday.
Losing 4-3 to Spartak Moscow despite leading the match three times, fans were left bitterly disappointed with the performances of defenders like Nikola Katic and Connor Goldson.
Particular criticism was aimed at Goldson, with the player scoring an own goal on the night and failing to defend in the manner he has so far this season.
Many now feel like dropping him for today’s match at Ibrox against the Steelmen would send a message that nobody is undroppable in Steven Gerrard’s side.
It’ll certainly be an interesting team selection when it is announced in the next hour, with the Gers needing three points to keep chase with the teams above them in the Scottish Premiership.
