The Rangers team to play Dundee in today’s important SPFL Premiership game has been confirmed.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst shuffles his pack after the demands of Thursday night in the Europa League as he aims for another win at Dens Park, just seven days after the last visit.

Today’s selection is as follows:

Allan McGregor – James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Fil Helander, Calvin Bassey – John Lundstram, James Sands, Scott Arfield, Aaron Ramsey – Ryan Kent, Alfredo Morelos.

On the bench is McLaughlin – Balogun, Barisic,  – Jack, Aribo, Kamara – Amad, Roofe, Fashion Jr.

Last week we saw Ramsey in ‘Arfield’s’ inside right position next to Tavernier but now both middle men combine. There would be an expectation that the Welshman will get the attacking role to support Morelos up top.

In reserve, Rangers have a very strong bench to call upon if required.

At the back, consistency is paired with pragmatism with Helander continuing to share duties with Balogun – the Nigerian international sits out this time. A few changes were always likely but overall, the style of play is likely to be similar to that of recent weeks in the search of another three essential points in this title race.

Expect all five subs to be utilised today, one last push before the break.
