Rangers fans don’t appear to be interested in signing goalkeeper Joe Hart this summer, despite having been reported to be one of the favourites to become his next club ahead of the new season.
The Scottish Sun said last week that the Gers were one of the teams emerging as front runners to offer him an exit from Manchester City during this transfer window, with one year left on his contract.
The 31-year-old is one the fringes of Pep Guardiola’s first team squad having spent the last two seasons on loan at Italian side Torino and English outfit West Ham United.
Despite having won the English Premier League twice with City, he looks like he is on the verge of a permanent exit from the Etihad.
Rangers fans though don’t want that destination to be Ibrox, with a massive 85% of respondents to a poll we published last week saying that the club should not try to sign him.
Wherever he ends up, it seems fans are happy to have Allan McGregor as the number shot-stopper for now.
