Many Rangers fans are not convinced attacker Greg Stewart can make an impact at Ibrox next season, after he was reported to have agreed a switch to Ibrox this summer.
The Daily Record reported on Sunday that the player, currently on loan at Aberdeen, has agreed terms on a pre-contract that will see him join up with Steven Gerrard’s squad for pre-season.
The paper say the deal will be announced at the end of the current campaign.
Shining on loan at Kilmarnock in the first half of the season, his form has dipped severely since joining the Dons in January, but clearly Gerrard has hope he can prove to find his lethal touch again in the Scottish Premiership.
In total he’s scored nine goals and assisted ten times this season, which isn’t a bad return from 34 appearances.
Surrounded by better players in a more attacking side, he could prove to be that vital creative link between midfield and a central striker.
Plenty of Gers fans have already made up their mind though, feeling he doesn’t have the quality to shine at Ibrox.

Struggling to get excited by this. Hope Stewart, jones etc are squad players rather than main targets, we need more than these guys to win the league

If Birmingham City don’t want him then why should we? We have enough players stealing a wage and a youth department brimming with talent! So maybe we should utilise our own resources.
