Speaking to Vitez, midfielder Josip Vukovic has revealed that he has a release clause in his contract with his current club of just £3.4m.
The midfielder currently plays for Maritimo in Portugal but there is a case to suggest that he may well be on the move in the summer window.
Indeed, it seems odd for a player to talk about their fee so freely unless he is interested in moving and it remains to be seen if Steven Gerrard takes particular note of what he has had to say.
Why would he? Well, because the Gers were linked with the midfielder not so long ago by Portuguese outlet A Bola, whilst other European sides are thought to be eager on him.
Indeed, for that price he could be worth a punt with the Gers potentially needing another midfielder in the summer depending on who stays and who goes.
We’ll soon see if Gerrard is keen.
