If you don’t already, a subscription to Rangers TV is well worth the money for any fan, whether it’s the highlights, full matches or behind the scenes footage, there is something for everyone on the current squad and in the archives.

One recent addition to the features is where the players are asked to name their dream five-a-side team, sometimes total fantasy, sometimes made from players they have faced but usually, it has to be former – or current – team-mates.

Scott Arfield was up this week and there are a couple of familiar faces in his team, Steven Davis and Allan McGregor lining up for the Canadian international, whose previous clubs also include Falkirk, Huddersfield Town and Burnley.

That he also smoked “40 fags a day” isn’t a secret but shows just how good a player he could have been if he had shared Arfield’s attitude and professionalism.
