When Rangers drop points there is always an immediate and nuclear response, and frequently, everyone is lined up in front of a firing squad for assassination.
James Tavernier and Borna Barisic have been rotten for months, Joe Aribo and Cedric Itten aren’t good enough for Rangers and Bongani Zungu should never wear a blue shirt again – just a sample of the players who came under the fiercest criticism following the 1-1 draw with Hamilton on Sunday.
One player who has seen an increased focus on his performance levels has been Ryan Kent, with the forward, again, missing great opportunities to add to his account for the season, you cannot help but think at the beginning of the year he takes the chances he’s had in recent weeks.

With Scott Wright through the door there is an obvious replacement waiting in the wings now and it would be a brave call by Steven Gerrard to drop his most expensive signing, not that it hasn’t stopped these fans from calling for just that:

The biggest one for sure is Ryan Kent, extremely disappointing. Hopefully he can find abit of form, paid big money for big moments and they are few and far between at the min.

Kent definitely hasn’t been in the same form as the start of the season but he has still been a key component of our front three with his performances improving recently, unfortunately, he is a Rangers forward and he will be measured using one matrix – goals, and he simply isn’t scoring enough of them just now.
