Some players can take a while to settle in at new clubs, while others hit the ground running and become an instant hit with fans.
It’s safe to say that Todd Cantwell and Nico Raskin fall into the latter category, not only that, but the new arrivals already seem to have sparked a bromance that could be the driving force in our new-look midfield.

Cantwell has surprised more than a few with how effective he has been out of possession but it was his desire to not let “more physical” players get away with knocking him about on Sunday that was impressive – he might not be built like Connor Goldson but, he can more than handle himself.
On the other hand, we knew Raskin was terrier like in how he plays and, despite only making a handful of appearances, it would seem that he is more than happy to bail out his teammates should they be outnumbered.

Posting on Twitter @PenaCartel has managed to provide a moment as entertaining as anything that we saw for the previous 90 minutes where Cantwell showed he is more than up for the fight in Scottish football and Raskin showed he’s more than willing to punch above his weight.
Team spirit isn’t something that can be bought but it looks as though the new boys have exactly the sort of attitude needed to be a success at the club. Not only are they a positive influence when the ball is in play but they also look like they have exactly the right type of mentality to carry the weight of the jersey.
