It’s amazing how quickly a player can go from being a hero to a villain.

For long periods of his Rangers career Alfredo Morelos has carried this team, match winning performances and goals keeping us going when there was little other hope.

To score 100 goals in just over four seasons in a team that hasn’t been hugely successful takes some doing and perhaps, sometimes we should remember that.

Against Brondby he was unlucky to have a goal disallowed, did well to create a volley for himself under pressure and fired close from long range, yes, sometimes his touch deserts him but even peak Morelos never fully looks in control of the ball.

Gers fans took to social media during and after the draw with the Danes, frustrated at what they had seen from the Colombian international who has yet to hit top form this season:

Morelos hasn’t been at his best but he has still been contributing, his performance against Brundy almost a reflection of our season as a whole, not bad, but not great either – and not being on the right side of the fine margins, another day and he gets his goal before tearing them apart, a confident El Bufalo is a destructive one hopefully we see him back soon.
