The Rangers team to play Brondby this evening has been confirmed.

Steven Gerrard’s side line-up as follows:

Allan McGregor – James Tavernier, Connor Goldson, Leon Balogun, Borna Barisic – Steven Davis, Glen Kamara, Scott Arfield – Fashion Sakala, Alfredo Morelos, Joe Aribo.

On the bench we have McLaughlin, McCrorie – Bassey, Patterson – Lundstram, Bacuna, Kelly – Hagi, Wright, Roofe, Kent.

The return of Borna Barisic is a great boost for the Gers, who are looking to overtake Sparta in second place in Group A – on the basis that they do not claim three points in Lyon tonight.

With the Croatian back on the left flank, the visitors attack is enhanced and other than that, it is as you were from Sunday’s fantastic display against Motherwell.

Gerrard’s men wil be aiming to strike first tonught so that they aren’t having to do things the hard way yet again and in Fashion Sakala, there is a man bursting with confidence who will fancy his chances of doing more damage this evening, in front of a vociferous home support.

An exciting possibility lies in the potential return to action for Ryan Kent – great to see the former Liverpool man back in the squad.

Rangers will be cheered on by around 1400 supporters in the away section tonight in what should be a cracker – play up the boys in blue!
