Michael Beale didn’t take long to settle into the manager’s job at Rangers, training was delayed on the day that he was announced so that he could deliver the session, an indication that he intends to be just as hands-on as he was before.
There was though, another important job that needed his attention – the Rangers Christmas video. No sooner was he in the door than the media team must have been presenting him with a script and running order.
The other notable inclusion is that of Ianis Hagi, we forget how much of an icon the Romanian international is outside of these shores and it clearly wasn’t his first time in front of the camera.

Rangers have already been in the festive spirit this season, regularly handing out gifts in the form of goals and points, hopefully, Beale can return us to the sort of organisation that saw us break defence and points records on our way to a league title.
There is an excitement that has returned to the club that has been missing for some time, the new manager is saying all the right things and the early training videos look positive in terms of the message he is trying to get across to his players.
A packed festive schedule awaits us on the other side of the World Cup, however, I’m hoping that Beale has us playing more like Ebenezer Scrooge than Santa Claus – tight to start off with but happy in the end.
