Bookies have started to take bets on Alfredo Morelos making the switch from Rangers to Celtic this summer, as reported by The Scottish Sun.

Mischievous rumours have been circulating on Twitter all day about the Colombian potentially moving across the city in a dramatic transfer move.

Clearly it is all utter nonsense but one bookmaker, William Hill, is offering odds of 50/1 for the deal to happen after being bombarded by strange Celtic supporters, say the paper.

Why Morelos would move across the city is beyond any sensible person’s comprehension. When he does leave Ibrox it will be for a monster fee and likely to a more illustrious league than the Scottish Premiership.

He may not have enormous boyhood love for Rangers but even he knows a move to Celtic would be completely off limits.

Rangers may be at a low ebb right now after being defeated to Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup, but we won’t be doing business with that lot anytime soon, that’s for sure.
