It’s always reassuring when a player your club has been linked with is in good form, it’s especially exciting when they are scoring goals and scoring screamers.
Millwall’s Jed Wallace is said to be high on a list of potential targets for Rangers, the Millwall winger being out of contract at the end of the season, currently valued at over £6million, getting him in on a pre-contract agreement would be an outstanding bit of business.
With five goals and four assists in 12 Championship appearances, he has been responsible for 70% of his sides goals so far and is producing the sort of numbers that Steven Gerrard demands from his front players, only this week he was demanding our from his strikers.
🎙️ SG: All our strikers need to score more goals. These are stats we need to improve on and to also keep providing the service.

Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good but, when Wallace scored against Sheffield United – no it wasn’t Wes Foderingham in goals – he had a bit of both as he scored from almost the touchline with a ridiculous strike.

Given our inability to score even the simplest of tap-ins just now, we have to take what we can get, even if it means the odd fluke like this, Wallace though is flying just now and would be well worth the punt.
Scott Wright has looked sharp, tidy and has worked hard, but he needs to be producing more often, three goals in 25 games is not an acceptable return for a Rangers forward, if Wallace does sign in January, he could have a fight on his hands.
