The first half against Kilmarnock was as good as we have played, domestically, all season. The midfield had more purpose and the front three created enough chances to be more than the three goals up that we were at half time. The less said about the second half, the better though.

With Raith Rovers on Saturday, we will probably see a bit of rotation, however, for the trip to Easter Road, there is no reason why we should be changing the team for changing its sake.

This is who I think Michael Beale will go with to bring the three points back to Glasgow:

Personally, I’d keep Antonio Colak in the starting XI, yes, the only reason I think that Alfredo Morelos will come back in is that the big Croatian has only just returned to full fitness. Morelos must now match the standard set against Kilmarnock if he wants to win his place back.

In midfield, Malik Tillman isn’t 100% and shouldn’t be risked given how well Todd Cantwell played and Ryan Jack produced one of the most competent displays in front of the defence last weekend. John Lundstram and Glen Kamara can just about be trusted to play against Raith Rovers to give the others the afternoon off.

The mentality was perfect the last time we were in Edinburgh with the Hearts display easily the best league performance of the season and it will take a repeat if we are to be as comfortable again. You have to earn the right to play in this type of game and any slackness like we saw in the second half against Kilmarnock will be punished, hopefully, Lee Johnson’s belief that his side can taken something is diminished early doors.
