Rangers get considerable boost already for 2019/20 season

|

Whilst there have been plenty of rumours about players this summer, we’ve also seen a recent bit of speculation about our manager, Steven Gerrard.

The boss enjoyed a decent first season at Ibrox and is at the point where he will now need to try and win a trophy next season.

Indeed, it looks as though he is going to stay around in order to do that with the Times reporting that he has rejected the chance to join Derby County if Frank Lampard joins Chelsea.

The boss has always been a loyal man.

At Liverpool, thanks to his love for the club, he stayed amid talk that he could go to the likes of Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Chelsea.

And, whilst his love for the Reds perhaps is bigger than his for our club, it is clear that old habits die hard – and that is surely a good thing for us.
