If Rangers are to make the big money signing that fans are demanding they will have to move fast as the closing hours of the transfer window tick past – Midtjylland’s Evander is the name currently making the headlines in the papers.
Vital Rangers covered an exclusive report yesterday from The 4th Official that confirmed we are interested in the Brazilian, however, there is little time for manoeuvering or negotiation, as Svend Graversen of the Danish outfit confirmed to Bold who asked about any potential last-minute moves:
“But it is clear that things went quickly with Raphael Onyedika (who left Midtjylland for Club Brugge), so of course it can also go quickly with Evander if the right price comes. But it hasn’t arrived, so it’s starting to seem more and more unlikely.
“We have told Evander that if we find the right club that is ready to give the right price, then it can be done. Both we and Evander have been honest with each other about this.”
If we are interested, you would like to think that an approach of some sort has been made already and that we know what the ballpark figure is for the 24-year old, it could also be that he is just one of a list of names and that Ross Wilson produces something from left-field as he has done in the past.
