Well, last night certainly put us through the mill and that’s saying something given the club that we support.
It’s been a rollercoaster supporting the Gers in recent times and few games have summed that up so neatly as the one last night.
In front on more than one occasion, the defending on show was child-like and, eventually, we were caught as 3-2 to us became 4-3 to them in a matter of seconds.
It was a tough one to take, then, but we cannot dwell and we can still get what we’re looking for if we respond in the next matchweek of the competition.
That will be the plan, then, and the Gers have put this determined message up on Instagram to help underline that.
The only hope for us is that the Gers will learn from their mistakes and go again in style next time around.
We’ll have to wait and see.
