Last night did not go to plan for the Gers and so it is back to the drawing board somewhat in Europe.
Of course, we shouldn’t get too down as we played well and could have won the game in terms of our attacking play.
Indeed, we’re still well in contention in the group but it is clear that we’ve got to tighten up defensively in games like this.
That’ll be the plan in the final two European games we’ve got, then, and it remains to be seen whether or not we’ll be able to do it.
The result could have been differently, of course, and for much of the game I thought we’d win it because they were poor.
