According to the Daily Record, Jurgen Klopp of Liverpool is now going to take a closer look at Ryan Kent in pre-season before deciding what to do with him for next season.
Kent had an excellent season on loan for us in this campaign just gone and it is clear that he could be a very talented wide-man going forwards.
However, it is also clear that he’s caught the eye of the Reds and our chances of keeping him for next season appear to be hanging in the balance.
He struck six times for the Gers last year on the way to becoming one of our key men and you’d think that that would continue into 2019/20.
If Klopp likes him, though, he could well be playing for the Reds next season and not us – let’s hope the German feels he needs another loan deal north of the border next year.
