Alfredo Morelos is, reportedly, a man in demand, however, you shouldn’t always believe everything you read in the papers.

Gers legend and all round top man, Craig Moore, has been speaking on the GO Radio Football Show and, in his role as an agent, has revealed that El Bufalo’s exit might not be as certain as some claim:

“From my connections and people that I speak to in Portugal, the Porto thing is not on the table, it’s not even on the table.

“But obviously we keep hearing about it. I would not be surprised if at some stage a club does come in for Morelos because he’s at a good age.

“25-years-old, scores goals, has scored goals at the top, top-level, not only domestically but in European football where he had an incredible run.

“There’s always going to be interest but eventually there comes a timeline in terms of ‘if the player is going to leave, then it needs to be done by this time, otherwise we crack on with business’.”

How many players do Rangers have at the Euros this summer?

Moore is right, it probably is the right time to sell Morelos, we have a settled forward line with one new addition already in place and the Colombian international has two years left on his contract, his price tag is only going to start to depreciate from here unless he starts banging them in all over the Champions League – hopefully, he’ll be around long enough for us to find out.
