Last time Rangers and Celtic faced off, it was the Hoops that came out on top. Celtic went on to win the Scottish League Cup, and since then, it’s been a season of growth for the Gers.
Now, as we come to the end of 2018, it’s going to be exciting to see how we’ll match up to Celtic, and one man that thinks we’re in a far better spot now in comparison to then is James Tavernier.

This is only natural, of course, but it also makes sense. Gerrard was still a relatively new boss when the two teams last met, and now he’s proven himself as the ideal manager for Rangers.
In that time, the Gers will have gotten used to his methods and tactics, and maybe that will have closed the gap between us and them.
