Rangers “lost out” on a move for QPR forward Bright Osayi-Samuel in January when the 23-year old decided to opt for a move to Turkey and sign for Fenerbahce, however, recent reports claim that he could already be making his way back to British shores.

Steven Gerrard’s side have again been linked with him but would now have to pay a fee – believed to be around the £3million mark – with Glasgow Live revealing that there are now two sources in Turkey claiming the Gers remain keen to sign him:

“It seems Osayi-Samuel might not be enjoying himself in the Turkish Super Lig with Turkish media outlet Fotospor claiming he’s keen to return to the UK – with both halves of Glasgow’s Old Firm eyeing a potential deal.

“And now TumSport claim that the the Gers hierarchy have been the first club to make an approach for the player, with Monaco and Celtic are also reportedly tracking his status.

“It’s thought the pacy winger wouldn’t cost an exorbitant fee given he joined Fenerbahce for a nominal price as his QPR contract was coming to an end but it remains to be seen if either Glasgow outfit could strike a deal.”

How many players do Rangers have at the Euros this summer?

I wouldn’t be averse to signing Osayi-Samuel but we really would have to know that the likes of Jordan Jones and Brandon Barker are already on their way out, we are well stocked for forwards, even before the arrival of Fashion Sakala, so splashing out on more wouldn’t be a great use of funds – something Ross Wilson is already well aware of.
