Rangers head north this evening to take on Ross County as we look to get ourselves another three points in this season’s title race.

The Gers have started this season nicely and now we’re getting towards the period of the year that usually determines whether or not we’re going to be in touch at the business end of the campaign.

According to Jackie McNamara, too, Filip Helander has given Steven Gerrard a real selection headache in terms of the defenders at the club right now, and that could be set to continue too.

Indeed, quoted by Football Insider, the former footballer was asked just whether or not he felt that the summer signing was becoming undroppable for the Gers, and he said:

“Yeah, but it’s a good problem for [Gerrard] to have. He’ll want to keep the standard up and that the other ones there keep pushing each other.”

With the likes of Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic battling for a spot in the side, too, we have some real competition for places and that is exciting to see at the moment as search for trophies.
