According to a report in Football Insider, Tottenham Hotspur are the latest club to be looking to prise Alfredo Morelos away from Ibrox in the January transfer window.

The Colombian international has been in sensational form this season with 28 goals in 35 appearances for the Light Blues including record breaking performances in the Europa League.

Although he is yet to score against Old Firm rivals, Celtic, he has shown in his last two performances that his all round game is good enough to give their centre-halves a torrid ninety minutes and to create openings for team-mates.

Spurs have potentially lost Harry Kane for the rest of the season and will be looking for additional firepower in the hope that they can still make the Champions League places without breaking the bank, a move for Morelos would appear to make sense given his ability to play upfront on his own and bring others into play.

The report also claims that Inter Milan are in for Morelos but both sides may have to turn their attentions else where with Ross Wilson and Steven Gerrard both stating that no key players and Morelos in particular will be going nowhere this January such is the importance of this season and what is at stake for the Ibrox club.

Will Alfredo Morelos still be at Rangers at the end of the transfer window?

Yes

Yes

No

Rangers fans will be happy that Morelos continues to be linked with such high profile clubs – including Barcelona – as it means that he continues to demonstrate the form that has fired them to within touching distance of top spot in the Scottish Premiership and the knockout stages of the Europa League, however, they will be hoping that when the window “slams” shut that he will still be wearing the famous blue shirt and spearheading the Gers attack as they look to wrestle the title from Celtic’s grip.
