Players Will Be Out To Thank The Fans

Ally McCoist has said that the players will be out to thank the fans for their loyal support this season at a sold out Ibrox.

Speaking to the Official Site McCoist explained that the game against Berwick had been sold out since last Tuesday, and the players know exactly what they have to do to help the fans end the season on a high.

‘There is no doubt this title is as important as any because it’s the first step back on the long road to recovery. We had to start somewhere and we’ve done that by winning SFL3 so it should absolutely be celebrated like any other title.’

Some would argue this should actually be celebrated more because of the tribulations that the club has endured, and the youthful and learning nature of our winning team.

‘It’s an ideal opportunity for our staff and players to say thankyou to the fans and celebrate. They are, and have been, without doubt, the star of the show this season. There’s no question of that so I hope there’s a lot of mutual and healthy respect tomorrow.’

Of course the best way to go out would be with a comprehensive victory and a good performance.
