We’re still celebrating the win over Celtic at the weekend, and that’s not something we’re planning on forgetting anytime soon. Any chance we get to get one over on our old rivals is an opportunity worth taking, and that game could prove to be crucial in the context of the season.
One player that struggled against us on Saturday was Scott Brown. The Celtic captain has oftentimes been the engine in the heart of their midfield, but he struggled against the might of our midfield, which included Ryan Kent and Ryan Jack.
Now, just a few days later, Brown’s long-term future at Celtic Park is looking uncertain, with the midfielder apparently – according to Sky Sports News – considering an offer to play in Australia from the end of the season.
Of course, everything that happens at either club often leads to a lot of reaction from both Glasgow teams, and this is no different. Indeed, lots of Rangers fans have been reacting to the Brown news, and it’s fair to say that they’re finding the whole situation rather amusing – especially given his performance at the weekend. Take a look at what they’ve had to say below:
How fitting that in his last game he gets bullied all over the park, nearly scores an o.g with a header then deflects Ryan Jack’s shot into the net for the winner. Outstanding. Was about to say he won’t be missed but he could actually help us win the league if he stays.
