Steven Gerrard has got us into a decent position in the league now and so this January window is more important than many we’ve had in recent years.
We’re well in with a chance of knocking Celtic off of their perch this season and if we can bring in the right players we are going to be looking very strong indeed.
Who we sign, then, remains to be seen but it will also be intriguing to see if any players returning from their loans are going to feature.
Indeed, Jamie Barjonas is back at the club after a spell with Bury in England’s League Two and he shared this message on Twitter as he looks to the future – which may well be with us:

Personally, I think he is probably another loan deal at least away from featuring for us but he does have quality and I think long-term we’ll see him feature more for us.
