When Rangers biggest problem recently has been dropping points for just the third time this season, you know something is going well and that your club is in safe hands.
When you compare this to the current shambles that is Celtic, then you couldn’t be further apart in terms of professionalism and competence.
Neil Lennon only just stopped short of claiming that Covid-19 was a hoax on his first press conference since returning to Lennoxtown following his period of self isolation after Christopher Jullien tested positive on his return from their ill-fated trip to Dubai.
He made several wild accusations of “agendas” and that the reason he had to make do without 13 first-team players was “political”.
Obviously the bizarre nature of Lennon’s statement was a source of great hilarity to Gers fans who took to social media to respond to his rant.
Lennon is 2 pints away fay offering Nicola Sturgeon a square go doon Dalmarnock bridge.

I can exclusively reveal that Father Ted Crilly’s Golden Cleric award acceptance speech was the inspiration for Neil Lennon’s press conference today pic.twitter.com/7LnrQ0PH97

Lawwell: Neil, just take it easy in this press conference. The fire is finally dying down.

Lennon has shown before how well he reacts to pressure and to not getting things his own way, that he still feels his side should’ve won the Old Firm game on the 2nd of January shows just how much the title “race” is getting to him.
