The Scottish Cup fourth round draw was made on Monday, following this draw Rangers now know Motherwell will be the visitors to Ibrox in the New Year.

Dreams of Cup glory will soon begin, including those for ourselves once more, but for a number that dream of winning this competition is all it’ll ever realistically be.

However, if our own quest to do this, which is a realistic one, is to continue beyond this fourth round tie we’ll have to be overcome Motherwell in an all-Premiership tie. This isn’t going to be easy by any stretch of the imagination.

Defeat to Hibernian in the final last season is still fresh in the mind, this also still hurts, so we’ll be keen to right that wrong from last May.

Fourth round draw.

Ross County v Dundee United
St Johnstone v Forres Mechanics or Stenhousemuir
Albion Rovers or Queen of the South v Celtic
Livingston v East Fife or Edinburgh City
Rangers v Motherwell
Aberdeen v Stranraer or East Kilbride

Kilmarnock v Hamilton Academical
