Ally McCoist has said he expects Carlos Bocanegra and Dorin Goian to return to pre season training on June 24.
With both players being sent out on loan last season in an effort to save some cash, but both players have another 12 months on their deals and McCoist is expecting them to fulfil them and help us to another automatic promotion.
Speaking to the Official Site the manager said.
‘They were both out on loan last year, at this moment in time, I think they’ll be joining us for pre season. Until I hear anything otherwise, that’s great. Let’s be honest, they are two international quality centre backs and I’d be delighted if they came back.’
McCoist also said that he was still hopeful Neil Alexander would remain at the club on the deal he was offered, even though he wants two years not one, as he wants him to push Cammy Bell all the way, leaving him free to loan out inexperienced Scott Gallagher to get good game time elsewhere.
