The gap between Rangers and Hearts stands at 13-points at the moment ahead of the meeting of Friday.
A ‘must win’ is definitely what we can call this and Nicky Law’s told the official website that he knows this all too well and if we’re going to ‘rein them in’ we need to beat them at Ibrox.
He said: ‘It’s a must-win game. If we can get it back to 10, you never know.
‘Unfortunately that is a huge gap to claw back but we will do our best to try and rein them in, starting on Friday night.’
Law’s goal, his 10th of the season, handed us a win over Alloa at the weekend with that making it back-to-back wins for us now, which is helping to build confidence and we wouldn’t have any better way of building this even more than by beating the Championship leaders,
Adding: ‘We need to continue to build that confidence and nothing would give us more confidence than beating Hearts on Friday.
‘It’s going to be a great game, one that we’re really looking forward to. If we can go out and get the win we can really push on from there.’
10-points of 16-points? I think we all know what gap we’d sooner see come close of play on Friday as we seek to make it ‘third time lucky’ against Hearts, who have already beaten us twice this season….
