It’s taken a fourth attempt but finally Rangers beat Alloa when an early goal was enough to see us come away from the Recreation Ground with the points on Saturday afternoon.

We’re still 13-points adrift of Championship leaders Hearts but the one-nil win opened up an eight-point gap on third place Hibernian.

The decisive moment of the game, with the only goal of the game coming early in the game, came from Nicky Law (15) when Kenny Miller and Jon Daly combined to set up Law who did the rest!

Confidence was very high going into the game that we would, as we did, win as these were the pre-match polls findings:-

Alloa v Rangers

Rangers win 78%
Draw 17%
Alloa win 5%

It’s now time for us to look to pick out a ‘Man of the Match’, that’s what the latest poll is asking so do cast a vote – did a starter, or someone from the bench, offer us the most at the Recreation Ground?

Select the name that you want from the list in the MotM poll to your right, but why not also share your thoughts with us on your thinking, and the game itself, with some views below.
