Rangers travel to Rugby Park today, refreshed after a break from football due to Scottish Cup games last week. Walter Smith hopes to continue his unbeaten run since taken over the reigns last month.

Rangers are unbeaten in the last five games, and have not conceded a goal in the league since 30th December when they drew 1-1 with St Mirren at Ibrox. Rangers have had clean sheets in the three games Walter Smith has taken charge of, he started off with a 5-0 win over Dundee United, that was followed by a narrow 1-0 over Dunfermline, and in the last game against Hearts, it ended 0-0.

The last game between these two clubs was back in November at Ibrox, Rangers won easily that day by three goals to nil. Rangers last trip to Rugby Park, in August, ended in a 2-2 draw. Ex Killie striker scored a double that day, but a 90th minute penalty from Steven Naismith stole a point for the Ayrshire club.
