He still has a lot of work to do but in his first season at Ibrox, Fashion Sakala has already made a very decent impression as his numbers show.
In adding another goal to his tally yesterday against Dundee, Fashion Jnr – as he is known on his shirt – notched his 10th goal of the season overall.
He has featured in 36 games in total to date this season:
Premiership – 9 starts, 14 sub appearances 2 – 7 goals, 2 assists.
In addition to this, the 25-year old has recorded three goals in three Scottish cup appearances with a further 26 appearances across the other competitions.

The popular Zambian continues to light up Ibrox with his beaming permanent smile and has proven that he is a key asset to Gio van Bronckhorst’s squad given his obvious pace and goal threat.
Versatility
Sakala has mostly featured off the right wing, as well as a few appearances up front but he has work to do in order to carry the responsibility as the focal point of the attack at Ibrox. For the forseeable future, the former Oostende man will continue to play from a wide position so that he can display his ball carrying ability as well as running beyond the defence.
Arguably, his best position is off the left wing as evidenced yesterday against Dundee with his goal just like others this season, when he can cut inside onto his right foot and be more unpredictable.
Ryan Kent won’t be shifted any time soon from the starting line-up but that won’t matter to Fashion Sakala. With his exemplary attitude and commitment, he will continue to thrive on any given opportunities on the pitch.
