Goalkeeper Wes Foderingham has said Rangers gave the perfect reaction to going a goal behind to Hamilton Accies on Friday evening.

Finding ourselves one nil down after the first minute, Declan John got us back on level terms before adding a second, and Daniel Candeias and Graham Dorrans also found the net to return a four one victory.

Speaking to the Official Site as he met with the media for his own post game press interviews, Foderingham admitted it was another poor start from the side, but he knew there were plenty of positives that could be taken from our reaction/

‘We started poorly tonight, the same as we did against Celtic. We could have been a goal down there as well and on another night like tonight we were. It was important that we bounced back and made sure that we didn`t go into our shell and we did that. We scored goals and three good goals as well in the space of around ten minutes or whatever it was; it was a brilliant reaction.’

Foderingham also had praise for John continuing to impress following his arrival at the club.

‘Even in the little bits that he`s played previously he`s done really well and tonight he was a threat going forward and I think he did really well.’

With a trip to Canada up next for Rangers as we face Benfica in the Eusebio Cup during the international break, Foderingham was looking forward to the challenge they’d pose us.

‘It will be a good test. It`s a really good level of opposition and we`ll go there to test ourselves and hopefully it`s a really good game.’
