Rangers skipper Barry Ferguson has refused to rule Rangers out of the SPL title fight, despite being a massive fifteen points behind Celtic.
Ferguson played a blinder in the match against Hearts as he looked back to his old self at last. He now looks to have got back his match fitness for the first time this season and it shows.
Yesterday’s 1-0 victory was a great result and the back to back wins will give Rangers confidence, but they still have to face facts that they are FIFTEEN points behind Celtic and it would take the slip up of all time for them to win the league.
Despite this fact, Ferguson insists that Rangers are not out of it yet. He said: ‘I am always optimistic, fifteen points is a big gap but if we keep performing and showing the commitment we did against Hearts, then we have a chance.’
Well Fergie, I admire your optimism, and my god I hope you are right, it will take a big big effort for Rangers to pull it off though.
