Rangers manager Paul le Guen has been strongly linked with a move back to France with Paris St Germain, but that will NOT happen and he is staying put.

Current Paris St Germain manager Guy Lacombe has been given the vote of confidence by club president Alain Cayzac.

Cayzac revealed that he has no intention of letting the coach go despite the fact that Paris St Germain have had their worst EVER start to a league season.

The French giants have slumped to SIX defeats in their first fourteen games of the season, form which is simply not good enough for a club of their size.

Paul le Guen is still very highly thought of in his homeland and speculation has been high about a possible return to escape the pressure at Ibrox.

Le Guen of course was a huge favourite in his playing days the club and the Paris fans would have welcomed him with open arms. I’m sure though that Le Guen would have opted to stay here even if the job was offered, he will be determined to turn around the fortunes of the club.
