Rangers Scottish Cup opponents in this weekend’s fifth round tie – Dundee United have a new man in charge. Ex Celtic player Jackie McNamara.
Not that we need any more incentive to beat the Arabs but here is a little more incentive anyway. Hopefully Rangers can make the ex Celtic players Dundee United managerial debut an unhappy one. Not that Jackie McNamara was a Celtic player I particularly hated, but he is an ex Celtic player nonetheless.
This is only McNamara’s second job in management. He, to be fair, has done a reasonably good job with Partick Thistle whom he has taken to second place in the Scottish First Division, Ex Rangers and Celtic player Steven Pressley had been favourite to land the job, but was pipped to the post by McNamara.
