It is hard to keep up at this point but the gift of Celtic, just keeps on giving.

In a season that has been an unmitigated disaster for them, on and off the pitch, there has been another talking point today highlighted on social media.

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard was confirmed today as SCottish premiership manager of the month for February.

However, in a glaring example of not reading the room and lacking self-awareness in the realities of life in the Glasgow goldfish bowl, Celtic’s Christopher Jullien ‘liked’ the post on his Instagram account in a decision that will go down like a lead balloon with his club’s supporters.

Following on from the anti-board, anti-Lennon and anti-almost everything else protests after a period of constant silverware, it appears that things are not yet set to change for Celtic fans.

They will have to take their medicine over the next few months as Rangers fans end celebrate the end of their club’s major trophy drought.

With a huge rebuild job about to get underway at Parkhead, they might just need to get used to the current situation.

Pace setters

The award for Steven Gerrard from the SPFL comes after a great month, domestically as well as in Europe.

His team maintained their unbeaten league run through February with the only disappointment coming in the draw at Hamilton.

More of the same looks likely as the Gers March on this month toward the Premiership crown and an assault on the Europa League and Scottish Cup.
