Steven Gerrard’s summer signings at Rangers have transformed a directionless squad into a team capable of competing with elite teams across Europe and maintaining consistency in the Scottish Premiership.
My any measure it’s been a fantastic season so far compared to where we were, leaving fans delighted week-to-week.
One of the major disappointments though was an injury sustained to Jamie Murphy during a League Cup win away to Kilmarnock. Tearing his knee ligaments, Murphy was ultimately ruled out for the entire season.
He’s working hard to get back as quickly as possible though and posted an update on Twitter this weekend to declare he was entering phase two of his rehabilitation.
Phase 1. Recover from surgery ☑️ Phase 2. Strengthen that knee!!!

It’s great to see Murphy progress well on his way back to the Gers first-team, having apparently full recovered from surgery. He will now look to regain his strength over the next few months before gradually working towards light training at Auchenhowie.
Fans are delighted to see him working hard and took to Twitter to share their support yesterday…
