Rangers outcast Brandon Barker could be set for a move to Hibs on this transfer deadline day.

The likes of Barker and Jack Simpson were expected to have moves set-up this month, given that they are surplus to requirements at Ibrox, with QPR, Middlesbrough and Swansea all linked with the English defender.
In terms of Barker, it is well known that his high wage has been a significant obstacle from stopping Rangers from moving him on. The 25-year old was a surprise inclusion in the recent line-up against Stirling Albion in the Scottish Cup, in what was seemingly a shop window opportunity for potential suitors.
Barker will not feature for the rest of the season so it makes sense for player and club for a deal to be agreed. He needs to play football and the finances should be taken care of, with just a few months of his existing deal remaining.
