Black Looking For Consistency

Ian Black has admitted his form and consistency last season wasn’t what he’d hoped for and he’s looking to put that right this campaign.

Speaking to the Official Site the 28 year old said that the more offensive signings that Ally McCoist has been making this summer should really help kick him into gear and help him excel at his own natural game.

‘It’ll certainly help. I feel as though my strengths are in sitting, getting on the ball and trying to control games rather than attacking the goal. Some of the boys who have come in are very attack minded and hopefully I can get the opportunity now to play the way I did at my previous clubs a bit more.’

Another big change to Black’s fortunes should come from the fact that this season he’s fresh and he’ll have a full pre season campaign under his belt.
